Production Process

the chestnut trunks from the cutting of the forests, are stocked within the outside square where they are selected and measured and sorted into processing areas.

The trunks are squared and cut along their longitude to obtain a square or rectangular section. The material that derives from this process is semi finished and it is completed according to the client’s request. (FIRST ARRAY)

the trunks of smaller sections are processed in two phases to create laths. The semi finished materials are then processed according to the client’s request (SECOND ARRAY)

The production process used to create the boards is the same that is used to create the laths, the only difference being that these pieces are then placed within the stocking area and left to season naturally.
